The Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support (PBIS) grant was awarded to the Maine Support Network and the Partnership of Partnerships (POP) in 2009. This exciting project is creating and supporting vibrant teaching and learning environments by providing professional development and direct services to SAUs in four regions of the state (Aroostook, Washington, and northern and southern Penobscot counties).
This blog is designed to provide information and resources for Maine educators to enhance their understanding of the impact of mental health on student behavior, in accordance with Objective 6 of the grant.
Objective 6: Professional development and technical assistance will be provided to enhance understanding of mental health diagnoses and their impact on children’s behavior.
